“Blaine’s face in this scene constantly caught my eye. The way he’s looking down, like he’s trying to avoid eye contact with anyone because he’s so caught up in an event that may have occurred a year earlier. An event which may have been his own attempted suicide. Blaine’s bullying could have been so bad, it could’ve been worse than he made it out to be and he could’ve been the one who walked onto the edge of the ledge. The one looking down onto the concrete pavement, wondering whether he should step back or step forward. I bet that look on his face is of pure relief. Relief that he didn’t end it all and that he kept going. He kept going and months later, weeks or maybe even days, he met Kurt. Instead of meeting the pavement that day, he met his saviour. He met the boy who saved his life. He probably didn’t speak up because Kurt had taken the news of Dave really badly, but in a way, I’m sure Kurt knew. People go on about how Blaine was Kurt’s hero, but perhaps in this case, Kurt had been Blaine’s”
